1. Introduction

This Cookie Policy ("Policy") explains how Vidana OÜ uses cookies and similar technologies on the FarmCoast platform available at https://farmcoast.fun and https://play.farmcoast.fun, together with related game services, pages, accounts, payment and payout flows, and support features operated by us (the "Platform").

It describes what cookies are, which categories of cookies may be used on the Platform, why they are used, how long they last, and how you can manage your choices.

3. What Are Cookies and Similar Technologies?

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website or use an online service. They let the Platform recognise your device, keep you signed in, remember settings, maintain security, and support technical operation.

We also use similar technologies — in particular browser local storage and session storage (used, for example, to store your game session and interface preferences), as well as server logs. Where these technologies serve a purpose similar to cookies, this Policy applies to them in the same way.

Cookies can be set by us ("first-party cookies") or by providers whose services operate on the Platform, such as payment or authentication providers ("third-party cookies").

4. Categories of Cookies

(a) Strictly Necessary Cookies — in use

These technologies are required for the Platform to work. They support:

  • keeping you signed in to your FarmCoast account;
  • maintaining your game and account session;
  • protecting your account against unauthorised access;
  • supporting secure checkout, payment, and payout flows;
  • remembering essential interface state and, where shown, your cookie choices;
  • detecting bots, fraud, misuse, and technical faults.

Strictly necessary cookies do not require consent, because the Platform cannot function properly without them. You can block them in your browser, but signing in, playing, and paying will stop working.

(b) Functionality and Preference Cookies — limited use

Preference technologies remember choices you make, such as interface or sound settings. On the Platform these are stored mainly in local storage. Where a preference is needed to deliver something you asked for, it is treated as strictly necessary; any purely optional preference technologies will be used only where permitted by law.

(c) Analytics and Measurement Cookies — in use with your consent

We use Google Analytics 4, a service provided by Google Ireland Limited (Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland), to measure traffic and usage of the Platform — for example the number of visits, pages and screens viewed, session length, approximate location (country or city level), device and browser type, and technical errors. Google Analytics sets cookies (in particular "_ga" and "_ga_*") that assign a random identifier to your browser; they do not contain your name or email address, and Google Analytics 4 does not log or store your full IP address. We use this data only to understand how the Platform is used and to improve it; we do not use Google Analytics for advertising. These cookies are optional: they are set only after you accept analytics in the cookie banner, and you can withdraw your consent at any time through the cookie settings on the Platform. Google may process this data on servers outside the EEA, including in the United States; such transfers rely on the safeguards described in Section 6.

(d) Targeting and Advertising Cookies — not used

We do not use targeting or advertising cookies and do not allow advertising partners to place cookies on the Platform. If this ever changes, this Policy will be updated first and such cookies will be used only with your consent where required by law.

5. Managing Your Cookie Preferences

(a) Cookie Settings Tool

When you first visit the Platform, a cookie banner lets you accept or reject analytics cookies. Strictly necessary cookies cannot be switched off through the banner, as the Platform cannot operate without them. You can change your choice at any time through the cookie settings available on the Platform (in the game: My Profile → Cookie settings); your choice is stored on your device.

(b) Browser Settings

Most browsers let you view, block, and delete cookies and clear local storage:

Blocking or deleting strictly necessary cookies and local storage will affect login, saved sessions, and payments.

(c) Opt-Outs for Optional Tools

You can opt out of Google Analytics on the Platform by rejecting analytics cookies in the cookie banner or in the cookie settings. You can also install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout. 6. Cookies and Personal Data

Some cookies and similar technologies involve personal data — for example your IP address, device and browser information, session identifiers, or account activity. Where that is the case, we process the data in accordance with our Data Protection and Privacy Policy, the GDPR, the Estonian Personal Data Protection Act, and the Estonian Electronic Communications Act.

We do not sell your personal data and we do not use cookies for cross-site tracking.

Where an analytics provider processes data outside the EEA (for example, Google LLC in the United States), we rely on the safeguards described in our Data Protection and Privacy Policy, such as the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.

7. Third-Party Cookies

A small number of cookies may be set by providers whose services are built into the Platform — in particular authentication, hosting, payment, and fraud-prevention providers — strictly to deliver those functions, and, only with your consent, by our analytics provider (Google Analytics) as described in Section 4(c). These providers process data under their own privacy and cookie notices, which we recommend reviewing where relevant.

We do not permit third-party advertising or social-media tracking cookies on the Platform.

8. How Long Cookies Last

Session cookies are deleted when you close your browser. Persistent cookies and local storage entries remain on your device for a set period or until deleted — for example, an authentication token may persist so you stay signed in between visits.

We configure cookies and storage to last no longer than reasonably necessary for their purpose, and you can clear them at any time through your browser.

9. Changes to This Cookie Policy

We may update this Policy to reflect changes in the cookies we use, Platform features, service providers, or legal requirements. The current version is always available on the Platform; material changes may be announced on the Platform or by email where appropriate.
