About FarmCoast

About the Game

FarmCoast is a cozy castaway farming game that runs right in your browser — no downloads, no installs. Washed ashore on a tropical coast, you pick up a hoe, till the sand, and slowly turn a stretch of beach into a working farm — one tile at a time.

The coast has its own rules. Watermelons, prickly pears and pineapples grow in sand and nowhere else; tomatoes, cabbage, pumpkins and cotton want proper soil further inland. Between the two, there's a whole world to figure out — and a boat waiting to be built at the water's edge.

What You'll Do

Farm the beach and beyond. Hoe the sand for beach fruit, then push inland for proper soil, orchards, and cotton fields.

Fish and hunt. Cast a line between harvests, and knock shark fins loose to trade for seeds — nothing on this coast can hurt you.

Press, bake, and craft. Machines do the slow half: start a batch at the press, the mill, the oven or the smelter and go back to farming — they finish on their own, in real time.

Trade with Nixon. The only market is a ship moored offshore. Sell your harvest for steady gold, and take your rarest finds to his board, where they're worth far more.

Hire a crew. A bottle of juice puts the guard on his post; coin hires a farmer who tills, plants and waters on his own. Keep them fed and the coast runs itself.

Keep your tools alive. Axes, hoes and sickles wear down with use — repair them, and trade stone up to metal, where every swing costs less.

Build the boat. Planks, iron, and a sail woven from your own cotton and wool come together at the slipway. Sail when you're ready — the coast is still here when you get back.

Our Philosophy

We're building FarmCoast around a simple idea: a game should respect the player.

That means honest, transparent gameplay. In-game purchases exist — they help us keep the game running and growing — but they're optional, clearly priced, and never designed to trick or pressure you. Nothing on this coast can hurt you and nothing is on a countdown: machines and crew work on real time, so you can close the tab, come back tomorrow, and the batch is done.

FarmCoast is in active development. The coast is growing — new crops, animals, machines, and places to sail to are on the way, and player feedback directly shapes what we build next.
